Banijay Americas had announced earlier in the year that it planned to launch a Mexico City-based production firm. Laurens Drillich is the head of the new studio which is led by Endemol Shine Latino President. It is being produced through Campanario Entertainment and will be released on December 4.
Endemol Shine Boomdog Studio, Mexico City recently entered into an overall agreement in conjunction with Eugenio Diez (multiple Emmy nominee) for development. They will co-produce the Amazon Original series “Last One Laughing Mexico,” which premieres on Netflix on December 14. Banijay Mexico & U.S. Hispanic
In the spring of this year, Banijay and Best Buy revealed that they were launching the very first studio partner within the new Los Angeles Community Impact Hub in an effort to get children in the entertainment business.
